While imparting information and knowledge to students, we must encourage an integrated outlook on life. This will help students to identify and break all those social distractions and prejudices and discourage the pursuit of acquisition of power and supremacy. Our education should rightly encourage self-introspection and experience life holistically, that is not to give importance to the part for the sake of ‘me’, and ‘mine’, but to help the mind go above and beyond itself to discover the real. We impart knowledge to bring about an integrated individual who is capable of dealing with life as a whole. We want our students to be rich from within and they should discover a new power and vitality within themselves to face new challenges in life.We must equip our children to become better individuals, thereby creating a better world. The competencies and skills applied by our teachers in teaching learning situations with responsible quantitative and qualitative assessment will definitely lead to a special flowering of talents of the students. Keeping this end in mind, not only our diverse curriculum, but also our methods of instruction have to keep pace with rapidly changing social structures and technological advancements.
